Bro. Ken & Mrs. Karen Fritz
Our children’s ministry mission statement is to Teach, Evangelize, and Mentor. We have classes for all ages with a teacher and a message that is age specific. We have classes on Sunday morning, evening, and Wednesday nights. Our goal is to share the Gospel and to teach children the value of living for Jesus.
At Lighthouse Baptist Church we work very hard to reach teens for Christ, and to disciple and train them to be the leaders of tomorrow. The times we live in are difficult for our teens. They deal with many Spiritual and emotional challenges. We have a God that is able to deliver us from all the challenges that teens may face.
Our youth ministry has many opportunities for teens. We meet every Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM and Sunday School class Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM. Each month we have activities from softball to scavenger hunts and our annual Christmas Party. We regularly attend youth conferences and camp every summer. We would love to have you check out our ministry.
Our Bus ministry goes to those that can’t get to church on their own. We have buses that go out weekly to pick up those from kindergarten through adult. Our very committed, screened and trained workers bring bus riders to church for programs designed just for them. On the busses we have games, prizes, and promotions. The busses leave on Sunday at 11:30 AM for pick up, and the service is from 2:00-3:00 PM.
Jail & Juvenile Hall Ministry
Pastor Steve & Mrs. Sharon Smail
A ministry that reaches out to our youth at a very needful time in their life. We share the gospel with them and encourage them when they are desperately in need of love and direction. Monthly church services are held in the Allegan and Barry County Jail, and the Kalamazoo Juvenile Home. Weekly meetings in the jails include the Reformers Unanimous Addiction Program.
